Coding & Game Design

ArcadeCAMP: (Grades 2-5)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Unleash your creativity and explore the world of game development using Scratch! Campers will dive into the world programming as they design and build games inspired by classics like Pong, Frogger, Snake, and Tetris, then use those skills to bring their own original game ideas to life. Along the way, they’ll experiment, problem-solve, and discover how code turns ideas into playable games. Whether you’re brand new to coding or already have some experience, this camp offers a fun, engaging way to explore computer science and game design. Participation in Coding & Game Design is recommended, but not required to register.

Coding & Game Design: (Grades 2-5)
Cost: $295/4-day camp.Campers discover the basics of programming using Scratch while thinking creatively and solving problems. They’ll use colorful drag-and-drop code blocks to program characters (sprites) to move, speak, play music, and interact with one another. Along the way, campers learn core computer science concepts like sequences, loops, conditions, variables, and functions as they create animated stories, artwork, a virtual pet, and games such as Hide and Seek and Pong. Campers will bring their projects home on a flash drive to share with family and friends and continue improving them at home. This camp is perfect for campers who love to create and want to explore the world of coding.

Minecraft 3D Adventures: (Grades 1-3)

Cost: $295/4-day camp :: $350/5-day camp. No experience needed! Minecraft is more than just a video game—it’s an immersive world where creativity, exploration, and problem-solving collide. Campers are dropped into a mysterious new world filled with hidden dangers, where they must quickly find food and build shelter before monsters emerge at night. In Survival Mode, campers gather resources, craft tools and weapons, and learn how to protect themselves as they explore. In Creative Mode, unlimited resources allow campers to design and build freely without monsters. Working as a team, campers take on roles such as game designer, artist, and architect to create their own custom adventure maps. Whether surviving the night or creating imaginative worlds, campers choose their own path in this excitement-filled Minecraft experience.

A Minecraft account is not required for this camp, as licenses are provided for camp use. Campers may use their own account if they bring their login credentials. Camp uses Minecraft Java Edition, which differs from the Bedrock version played on consoles, iPads, or downloaded from the Microsoft Store. Purchasing a personal Java account is optional.

Minecraft 3D Supreme: (Grades 3-7)

Cost: $295/4-day camp :: $350/5-day camp. Designed for campers experienced with the Minecraft fundamentals, this camp dives deep into Minecraft’s end-game content. Campers will explore End Cities in search of Elytra wings, protect villages from raids, and take on powerful bosses to build Beacons. These advanced goals require strategy, teamwork, and skill, making this camp perfect for experienced players ready to go beyond the basics and become true Minecraft champions!

Robotics & Engineering

Dates

LEGO Engineer: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. What makes this camp fun? Building, designing, programming, inventing and imagining what could be! Using LEGO® Education components, campers will level up their engineering skills as they create solutions to real-word concerns. Campers will build robots to clean oceans, improve recycling, prevent flooding, perform rescue operations, explore space and more. They’ll investigate, design, build and modify prototypes, program and test them and collaborate with other campers throughout the week. There is no limit to the innovative ideas and solutions that kids can generate. It’s design thinking at its finest! Attendance at LEGO Robot Creator is recommended, but not required, prior to participating in this camp.

LEGO Robot Creator: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $295/4-day camp. In this entry-level robotics and programming camp, campers use LEGO® Education components and easy-to-use software to create simple robots. They’ll build fun models, add sensors and motors, and program their robots’ behavior while experimenting and testing their designs with guidance from our counselors. Campers learn exciting engineering techniques as they build robots shaped like animals, soccer players, and creations from their own adventure stories. As they progress, they’ll move on to more advanced projects such as a racecar, Ferris wheel, or carousel—and even an X-wing fighter or Marine helicopter. Get ready for a fun-filled week of robot building!

LEGO Safari: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $295/4-day camp. Robotics aren’t confined to the city—join us “outdoors” on a LEGO® Safari! Projects in this camp are inspired by the creations of the most creative engineer in history: Mother Nature. Campers build, program, and discover fascinating facts about a variety of animals and what they have in common with robots. This entry-level robotics and programming camp uses LEGO® Education components and easy-to-use software as campers create their own robotic jungle.

LEGOmania: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Get ready for a fun-filled week of robot building! In this entry-level robotics and programming camp, campers use LEGO® Education components and easy-to-use software to create a variety of robots. They’ll start by building cool models, including bionic creatures, vehicles, mechanisms, and even a CandyBot. Then they’ll add sensors and motors and program their robot’s behavior. Our counselors will guide and encourage campers as they experiment and test their designs. In addition, campers will take part in free-form building challenges and LEGO games. They’ll have a blast building robots that amaze them.

Machines in Motion: (Grades 2-4)
Cost: $320/4-day camp :: $375/5-day camp. Join us for a week of hands-on robot building and discovery! Campers will build and experiment with machines that move—including a “Mars-like” RC Rover capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also design electrical circuits using unexpected items and build their own solar-powered robot to take home for hours of fun after camp ends. Along the way, they’ll explore how robotic machines work, discover six simple machines, and see how they’re used in more complex systems. This camp is packed with engineering, fun, and excitement! Price includes a $25 lab fee.

Space Engineer: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Get ready for a blast of fun! Campers will build and code out-of-this-world structures and space vehicles using LEGO® Education components. They’ll learn about the Earth, Moon, stars, and planets, as well as topics such as force, friction, and gravity. Campers build and program a rotating satellite, space buggy, spaceship, droid, and other exciting projects. They’ll explore the starry sky and build and launch Estes model rockets as they learn about the physics of space travel. Don’t miss this opportunity for your child to have a blast while learning about space!

Cost: $295/4-day :: $350/5-day camp.  What is artificial intelligence, and where do we see it every day? Hint: it’s not just chatbots! In AI Explorer, campers discover how smart technology learns, follows rules, and makes decisions through kid-friendly activities and creative play. Campers will meet friendly robots like Dash and Dot, explore patterns and instructions, and use block-based coding tools to bring ideas to life. Through games, stories, and creative challenges, campers see how AI helps at school, at home, in games, transportation, medicine, and even protecting the planet. They’ll design smart helpers, play pattern and data games, explore how computers “see” pictures and understand words, and practice being safe and responsible digital citizens. AI Explorer introduces big ideas in a playful, age-appropriate way that builds curiosity and confidence.

Can You Dig It? (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $295/4-day camp :: $350/5-day camp. . Get ready to dig into the past and uncover the secrets of the Earth! Budding paleontologists and archaeologists explore volcanoes, Earth’s layers, and how stalagmites and stalactites form. Campers get hands-on with activities like an archaeological dig, cracking open a geode, panning for gems and minerals, painting like an ancient artist, and more. They’ll also explore the fascinating world of mummies and Egyptian pyramids and learn hieroglyphics. With so much to discover and create, campers leave with new knowledge—and plenty of cool treasures to share with family and friends.

Experience the Cosmos (Grades 2-4)
Cost: $295/4-day camp. Join us for an out-of-this-world adventure designed for young space enthusiasts! Campers journey across the Milky Way through engaging projects and experiments that spark curiosity and imagination. They’ll build a sundial, construct a telescope, and launch a water rocket while exploring the stars, planets, and galaxies of our universe. Campers will also experiment with screaming balloon rockets, create a glow-in-the-dark Saturn, and explore wind tunnels and flying technologies. Using remote sensing techniques, they’ll investigate the terrain of a distant planet and dive into topics such as comets, black holes, constellations, and moon craters. This camp is sure to inspire the next generation of space explorers.

Each day, campers tackle exciting STEAM quests inspired by familiar stories—designing a parachute to escape a tall tower, experimenting with glowing lanterns to explore light and color, and testing ways to clean water using natural materials. Along the way, campers dive into sound, snow, the sea, and more through hands-on experiments and building challenges that spark curiosity and imagination. Inspired by stories like Rapunzel, Frozen, Moana, Brave, Wicked, and more, this camp turns beloved tales into playful discoveries and unforgettable adventures.

Future CSI: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Unlock the mysteries of forensic science! Campers step into the shoes of real-life detectives as they solve engaging cases like the Rogue Rodent and the Missing Money Mystery. From discovering the crime to analyzing the evidence, campers experience every stage of the investigation. Using real-world techniques and equipment, they’ll process mock crime scenes, follow clues, and uncover the truth. They’ll explore how biology, chemistry, and physics are used in forensic investigations by collecting, documenting, and analyzing evidence including soil, powders, lip prints, fibers, DNA, chromatography, shoe prints, and more to crack the case.

Future Innovator: (Grades 3-5)

Cost: $350/5-day camp. Unleash your child’s creativity and curiosity! Each day, campers dive into projects and experiments that challenge them to think outside the box while learning about different STEAM-related careers and the cool things these professionals do. Campers will create optical illusions and scented sunsets, build a robot from everyday objects, and whip up a homemade sports drink. They’ll also tackle engineering challenges such as an acoustical challenge, shoe design, a recycled racer, and bubble wand building. This camp is a fun, confidence-building way for campers to discover new interests and explore where their ideas can take them.

Future Physician: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $295/4-day camp. Step into the role of a doctor and explore how the incredible human body works from the inside out! Campers will use their very own stethoscope to check heart rates and listen to lungs, extract DNA to explore genetics, test for germs, and build creative body models to take home. Along the way, they’ll discover the mysteries of blood, bones, muscles, and even taste buds through fun, engaging activities. Campers will learn how their bodies do amazing things every day and how doctors and medical tools help keep us healthy.

Future Wildlife Biologist: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Welcome, future wildlife biologists! Did you know that new types of animals are discovered every year? Join us on an exciting journey through the animal kingdom and investigate the incredible diversity of our planet. Explore different ecosystems, from the Arctic to the high desert, through creative projects and activities. From learning about spiders and stick bugs to koalas and birds, campers will “work” alongside flora, fauna, wild beasts, and cultures from around the world as they discover fascinating facts about mammals, insects, reptiles, and birds and may even tackle the age-old question: Why did the chicken cross the road?

*NEW* Grossology: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Get ready to explore the wonderfully gross side of science! In this fun and curiosity-packed camp, young scientists uncover the fascinating secrets of the human body, from brains and bellies to slimy stuff and beyond. Campers will discover how the brain controls the body, learn how mucus helps protect us from illness, explore how eyes work and how we see the world, and follow food on its incredible journey through the digestive system from spit to… well, the end! Along the way, campers create interactive models to take home, turning squeamish moments into laughs, learning, and memorable discoveries. Grossology shows kids that even the gross stuff plays an important role in keeping us healthy.

Hero Lab: The Science of Superpowers (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Heroes need help, and science is the secret! In this engaging camp, campers uncover the real science behind superpowers. They’ll explore what makes flight possible, investigate web-slinging and grip, and test strength, speed, and balance as they connect science to real-world action. Along the way, campers discover how forces like gravity, friction, and motion show up everywhere—from sports fields to everyday life. Why does friction matter in soccer? How do unbalanced forces affect an athlete? From comic-book heroes to real-life role models, Hero Lab empowers campers to become heroes of science and discovery!

Mini Chef: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $320/4-day camp. Unleash your child’s inner chef! This camp is perfect for kids who love to help in the kitchen and explore the exciting world of cooking. Young chefs will learn basic cooking skills such as prepping, measuring, blending, baking, and following recipes while creating nutritious and delicious meals and snacks. Along the way, they’ll discover the science behind cooking, practice kitchen safety and skills, and build confidence as they taste the fruits of their labor. At the end of the week, campers will take home their recipes to continue their culinary creations. Price includes a $25 lab fee.

Cost: $350/5-day camp. Discover the magic of science! This camp is perfect for kids who love to ask questions, try new things, and figure out how the world works. Campers dive into exciting projects like growing their own beast, creating bouncing balls and hovercrafts, launching cosmic rockets, building brush bots, and more. Along the way, they journey through different branches of science, including chemistry, biology, and physics, while learning important lab skills such as making predictions, measuring, recording results, and practicing lab safety. Campers will also put the scientific method into action as they experiment, observe, and discover something new each day.

Sea Adventures: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $295/4-day camp :: $350/5-day camp. Set sail for a week of ocean exploration and discovery! Campers dive into the world of the sea through engaging STEM experiments, creative design projects, and hands-on art activities. They’ll learn about ocean zones, explore the power of waves, and discover fascinating sea creatures like sharks and other marine life. Along the way, campers practice skills such as knot-tying and map-making and work together to build floating rafts and simple launchers inspired by life at sea. Campers will also learn about seafarers from the past and what it takes to explore the oceans. The week wraps up with an exciting treasure hunt and a celebration of their sea-going adventures.

Secret Agent: (Grades 2-5)
Cost: $350/5-day camp. Unlock the secrets of double agents at our spy camp! Campers dive into a world of mystery and adventure as they work to uncover the identity of a double-crossing mole. Through hands-on activities like creating secret handshakes and code names, decoding secret messages, searching for clues, and navigating a maze obstacle course, campers learn the tricks of the trade and build detective skills. From spy disguises to analyzing forensic evidence, no stone is left unturned in the search for the ultimate spy.

Weather Wizard: (Grades 1-3)
Cost: $295/4-day camp. Ready to unlock the magic behind the weather? Campers become Weather Wizards as they explore why the sky is always changing. They’ll measure rainfall, use wind vanes, build a weather station, and harness the power of the sun. Campers also investigate weather phenomena by creating a mini-ecosystem in a terrarium, whipping up a twister, and making snow that never melts. Along the way, they explore clouds, wind, rain, temperature, sunlight, and seasonal changes through a mix of projects and experiments, including making ice cream. By the end of the week, campers will feel like true weather wizards and might even be ready to report the forecast on the 6 o’clock news!
